The system consists of the DF 500 dowel jointer, DOMINOs in different sizes and a wide range of accessories for special applications. The result: extremely strong, invisible joints. A system that connects everything
The DOMINO DF 500 is particularly handy and offers almost unlimited connection options. It doesn’t matter whether it’s panel or body construction, light frame or rack connections – the DF 500 convinces with maximum precision, flexibility and easy handling.
Pendulum milling principle
Unique in hand machines and patented by Festool: the milling movement of the DOMINO jointing machines. The simultaneous turning and oscillating of the milling tool enables easy work and holes without burn marks. Due to the pendulum movement, the milling cutters do not overheat, which leads to an extremely long service life.
slot principle
Precise alignment: The first DOMINO dowel is positioned using an exact slot, the subsequent ones fitted with play using wider slots – this allows the connection to be aligned effortlessly. The result is a stable connection, twist-proof from the first dowel.
Innovative stop system
One of the major time savings when working with the DOMINO jointer is the fact that you can work without time-consuming measuring or marking – the DOMINO DF 500 can be positioned quickly and precisely using stop pawls.
Save time with recurring milling depths
For great flexibility and precision: With the help of the locking lever lock, you select your desired milling depth. 12 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm and 28 mm are possible.
Highest stability
The special shape of the DOMINO dowel in combination with swelling glue pockets and longitudinal grooves on the side gives the dowels a secure hold. With the Festool DOMINO DF 500 dowel jointer, you can process DOMINO dowels with a size of up to 10 x 50 mm. Also available as individually adaptable off-the-shelf products.

All DOMINO dowels come from sustainable forest management. The beechwood dowels bear the seal of quality of the Pan European Forest Council (PEFC).
Working with suction
When working with the DOMINO jointing machines, large amounts of chips accumulate. We strongly recommend that you always work with dust extraction to improve chip removal from the milling hole during the milling process, but also to protect your health.
